PatrolForge GPS Tracking Acknowledgment and Consent Effective Date: 6/28/2026 1. Purpose This GPS Tracking Acknowledgment and Consent ("Acknowledgment") explains how PatrolForge uses Global Positioning System ("GPS") location services within the PatrolForge platform. By accessing or using PatrolForge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection and use of location information as described in this Acknowledgment. 2. GPS Tracking Features PatrolForge includes optional GPS-based functionality that may be enabled by your employer or organization. Depending on your organization's settings, PatrolForge may collect and process location information to support features including, but not limited to: • Patrol route tracking • Officer location verification • Patrol checkpoint validation • Guard tour management • Incident location recording • Activity logging • Timekeeping verification • Officer safety features • Vehicle tracking (if enabled) • Property inspection verification • Geofencing • Dispatch and response management • Client reporting • Audit records Not all features may be enabled by every organization. 3. Information Collected When GPS tracking is enabled, PatrolForge may collect information including: • Current GPS coordinates • Historical GPS locations • Date and time stamps • Speed (where available) • Direction of travel • Device identifier • Patrol route information • Checkpoint locations • Property visits • Incident locations • User account associated with the location data Location accuracy may vary depending upon: • GPS signal availability • Cellular coverage • Wi-Fi availability • Device hardware • Operating system limitations 4. When Location May Be Collected If enabled by your organization, PatrolForge may collect location information: • While clocked in • During active patrols • While performing assigned duties • When submitting reports • During checkpoint scans • During incident reporting • When responding to dispatches • While using PatrolForge mobile application features requiring location services Certain features may require periodic or continuous location updates while the application is in use. 5. Background Location Services Some PatrolForge features may require access to your device's background location services in order to: • Record patrol routes • Verify patrol completion • Monitor officer movement during active shifts • Validate checkpoint visits • Improve officer safety • Support emergency response features Your mobile device may display notifications indicating that PatrolForge is actively using location services. 6. How Location Information Is Used Location information may be used for legitimate business purposes including: • Verifying patrol completion • Creating activity reports • Generating client reports • Mapping patrol activity • Investigating incidents • Auditing completed work • Supervisor review • Operational analysis • Officer safety • Internal investigations • Legal compliance • Responding to lawful requests from governmental authorities 7. Visibility of Location Data Location information may be visible to authorized individuals within your organization, including: • Company administrators • Supervisors • Dispatch personnel • Management • Individuals specifically authorized by your organization PatrolForge personnel do not routinely access customer location information except as necessary to: • Provide technical support • Investigate system issues • Maintain system security • Comply with applicable law • Respond to valid legal process 8. Employer Responsibility PatrolForge is a software provider. Your employer or organization determines: • Whether GPS tracking is enabled • Which users are tracked • When tracking occurs • Which supervisors may access location information • How long location information is retained Your employer is solely responsible for complying with all applicable employment, labor, workplace monitoring, and privacy laws governing the use of GPS tracking. 9. User Responsibilities Users agree to: • Use PatrolForge only while performing authorized work duties, as required by their organization. • Not attempt to disable, manipulate, spoof, or falsify GPS data while using PatrolForge. • Not interfere with location services in a manner intended to defeat patrol verification or other legitimate business functions. • Keep device location permissions enabled when required for assigned duties. Unauthorized manipulation of location information may result in disciplinary action by your employer and may affect the integrity of PatrolForge records. 10. Device Permissions Certain PatrolForge features require location permissions granted through your mobile operating system. If required permissions are denied or revoked: • Certain PatrolForge features may not function properly. • Patrol verification may fail. • Checkpoint validation may be unavailable. • Incident locations may not be recorded. • Your employer may be notified that required location permissions are unavailable. 11. Data Retention Location information is retained according to your organization's retention settings and applicable law. Retention periods may vary depending on: • Organizational policies • Client requirements • Regulatory obligations • Litigation hold requirements • System backup schedules 12. Privacy and Security PatrolForge employs reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect collected location information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and PatrolForge cannot guarantee absolute security. 13. No Expectation of Privacy While Using PatrolForge When GPS tracking is enabled by your organization, users should not expect that location information generated through PatrolForge while performing assigned work duties will remain private from authorized representatives of their employer. This acknowledgment does not authorize an employer to collect or use location information in violation of applicable law. 14. Consent and Acknowledgment By selecting "I Agree," signing electronically, or otherwise using PatrolForge after receiving this Acknowledgment, you acknowledge and agree that: • You have read and understand this GPS Tracking Acknowledgment. • You understand that PatrolForge may collect location information when GPS tracking is enabled by your organization. • You understand that your employer determines whether GPS tracking is enabled and how collected information is used. • You understand that PatrolForge acts as a software provider and does not control your employer's workplace policies. • You consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of location information as described in this Acknowledgment, subject to applicable law.
