1. Overview
This Cookie Notice explains how Patrol Forge uses cookies, local storage, device identifiers, analytics identifiers, and similar technologies when users access the Patrol Forge website, web application, Windows desktop application, mobile-ready workflows, portals, and related services.
This Cookie Notice should be read together with the Patrol Forge Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and GPS Acknowledgment. If a company account provides your access to Patrol Forge, your employer, company, client, property, association, or organization may also have its own technology, monitoring, privacy, or device-use rules.
2. What Cookies And Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small files or identifiers placed on a browser or device. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, software identifiers, analytics identifiers, device identifiers, and server-side session records.
These technologies help Patrol Forge recognize a session, protect accounts, remember settings, measure usage, support the desktop app, support legal acceptance records, and improve the reliability and security of the platform.
3. How Patrol Forge Uses Cookies
Patrol Forge may use cookies and similar technologies for essential platform functions, including authentication, login sessions, CSRF protection, account security, two-factor authentication support, fraud prevention, rate limiting, role-based access, company access, support access codes, legal acceptance records, desktop app sessions, and user preference settings.
Patrol Forge may also use cookies and similar technologies to understand platform performance, page views, feature usage, browser or device type, referrer information, approximate location derived from IP address, error trends, and whether users can access supported features.
4. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies and similar technologies are necessary for Patrol Forge to function. If these are blocked, users may not be able to log in, remain signed in, submit forms, accept legal agreements, use the desktop app, access company dashboards, use CAD or dispatch features, submit reports, complete parking workflows, or use other protected areas of the platform.
5. Analytics Cookies And Google Analytics
When Google Analytics or the Google tag is enabled by Patrol Forge, Google may receive limited website or application usage information such as page views, page URL, browser or device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referrer information, and analytics identifiers.
Patrol Forge may use Google Analytics on public website pages, signed-in web application pages, and Windows desktop application pages depending on platform settings. Patrol Forge does not use GPS location information for advertising or behavioral marketing.
Google Analytics advertising features, Google signals, or ad personalization signals are disabled unless expressly enabled in platform settings and used only where permitted by applicable law and any required notice, consent, or opt-out process.
6. Sensitive Routes
Patrol Forge is configured to exclude certain sensitive public routes from Google Analytics, including secure private file links, tow portal links, violation notice payment links, public parking permit verification links, and public checkpoint scan links. Users should still avoid placing unnecessary sensitive personal information in URLs, page titles, or free-text fields.
7. Third-Party Services
Third-party services used by Patrol Forge may set or read cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies when needed to provide payment processing, hosting, analytics, security, mapping, app downloads, email delivery, support, or platform infrastructure. Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy and technology practices.
8. User Choices
Users may be able to control cookies through browser or device settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may limit or prevent access to Patrol Forge features. Some cookies are required for security, authentication, fraud prevention, legal acceptance tracking, and protected account access.
Where required by applicable law, Patrol Forge may provide additional notice, consent, or opt-out controls for certain analytics or advertising-related technologies.
9. Updates To This Cookie Notice
Patrol Forge may update this Cookie Notice to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, platform features, analytics tools, desktop or mobile applications, third-party services, or business practices.
