PatrolForge Acceptable Use Policy Effective Date: 6/28/2026 Last Updated: 6/28/2026 1. Purpose This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the rules governing acceptable use of the PatrolForge platform, including the PatrolForge website, web application, mobile applications, APIs (if offered), Client Portal, software, servers, databases, communications systems, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). PatrolForge provides software designed to assist organizations in managing security operations and related business activities. Because PatrolForge hosts customer data, operational records, location information, reports, and other sensitive information, misuse of the Services can negatively affect PatrolForge, its customers, and third parties. This Policy exists to: • Protect the integrity, security, availability, and reliability of the Services. • Protect Customer Data. • Protect PatrolForge's infrastructure. • Protect other customers using the platform. • Prevent unlawful or abusive use of the Services. • Define activities that may result in suspension or termination of access. This Policy supplements the PatrolForge Terms of Service. Any violation of this Policy may constitute a violation of the Terms of Service. 2. Scope This Policy applies to every individual or organization that accesses or uses PatrolForge, including but not limited to: • Customers • Company administrators • Authorized users • Client Portal users • API users • Contractors • Third-party integrators • Trial users • Beta users • Visitors accessing PatrolForge services Customers are responsible for ensuring that individuals accessing PatrolForge through their accounts comply with this Policy. 3. Lawful Use PatrolForge may only be used for lawful purposes. Users may not use the Services to engage in, promote, facilitate, or support activity that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of PatrolForge complies with all laws applicable to their business, industry, and jurisdiction. 4. Platform Integrity Users may not engage in conduct that interferes with the integrity, security, reliability, or availability of PatrolForge. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: • Attempting unauthorized access to PatrolForge systems. • Attempting unauthorized access to another customer's data. • Circumventing authentication or authorization controls. • Interfering with PatrolForge security features. • Attempting to bypass subscription or licensing restrictions. • Reverse engineering the software except where expressly permitted by applicable law. • Decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to discover source code. • Conducting denial-of-service attacks. • Interfering with platform availability. • Using PatrolForge to launch attacks against third parties. • Attempting to compromise system security. • Uploading malicious software. • Introducing ransomware, spyware, worms, trojans, or viruses. • Exploiting software vulnerabilities without prior written authorization. • Performing penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without PatrolForge's prior written consent. PatrolForge reserves the right to immediately suspend activity that threatens the security or stability of the Services. 5. Data Integrity PatrolForge relies on the integrity of information stored within the platform. Users may not intentionally manipulate, falsify, or interfere with data in a manner intended to deceive PatrolForge, another user, a Customer, a Client, or any third party. Examples include, but are not limited to: • Deliberately spoofing GPS or location data to create false operational records. • Circumventing location verification mechanisms. • Manipulating audit records through unauthorized means. • Altering system-generated timestamps outside authorized functionality. • Falsifying operational records using automated tools or unauthorized software. • Using modified clients or unauthorized software designed to alter PatrolForge-generated information. • Creating fraudulent accounts to manipulate reporting, licensing, billing, or system functionality. Nothing in this section is intended to regulate a Customer's internal business practices. Rather, it is intended to protect the integrity and reliability of PatrolForge and the information stored within it. 6. Illegal Content PatrolForge may not be used to store, transmit, publish, upload, or distribute content that is unlawful or that facilitates unlawful activity. Without limitation, prohibited content includes: • Child sexual abuse material. • Material that promotes or facilitates human trafficking. • Material supporting designated terrorist organizations. • Stolen confidential information. • Malware or malicious code. • Fraudulent documents intended to deceive others. • Content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights where the user lacks authorization. • Content whose possession or distribution is prohibited by applicable law. PatrolForge reserves the right to remove prohibited content and cooperate with law enforcement where required or appropriate under applicable law. 7. Abuse of the Services Users may not use PatrolForge in any manner that unreasonably interferes with the Services or other users. Examples include: • Excessive automated requests. • Resource exhaustion attacks. • Abuse of trial accounts. • Creating multiple accounts to avoid subscription limits. • Circumventing usage limitations. • Attempting to obtain services without payment. • Automated account creation. • Credential stuffing attacks. • Password spraying. • Bulk unsolicited messaging using PatrolForge. • Using PatrolForge as a general-purpose file hosting service unrelated to legitimate use of the platform. • Using PatrolForge for cryptocurrency mining or similar computational activities unrelated to the intended operation of the Services. PatrolForge may investigate unusual usage patterns to protect platform stability and security. 8. Enforcement PatrolForge may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. Where PatrolForge reasonably believes that a violation has occurred, PatrolForge may, to the extent permitted by applicable law: • Remove violating content. • Suspend individual users. • Suspend Customer accounts. • Restrict access to specific features. • Disable API access. • Preserve evidence. • Cooperate with law enforcement. • Terminate accounts. • Pursue any other remedy available under the Terms of Service or applicable law. PatrolForge is not obligated to provide advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the Services, Customers, or third parties. 9. Account and Subscription Abuse PatrolForge subscriptions are licensed to the Customer identified on the applicable account. Users may not engage in activity intended to circumvent subscription plans, licensing restrictions, billing, or account limitations. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: • Creating multiple accounts to avoid subscription limits. • Creating accounts using false or misleading identity information. • Using another Customer's account without authorization. • Selling, leasing, sublicensing, or reselling access to PatrolForge without PatrolForge's prior written consent. • Sharing accounts in a manner intended to avoid user-based licensing restrictions. • Circumventing subscription features or plan limitations. • Attempting to obtain paid features without authorization or payment. • Using trial accounts for production purposes after the trial period has expired. • Repeatedly creating trial accounts to avoid purchasing a subscription. • Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods. • Knowingly initiating fraudulent payment disputes or chargebacks. PatrolForge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in subscription or billing abuse. 10. Intellectual Property and Copyright Users shall respect the intellectual property rights of PatrolForge and third parties. Users may not: • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display PatrolForge software except as expressly permitted by the Terms of Service. • Reverse engineer or create derivative works from the PatrolForge platform except where expressly permitted by applicable law. • Remove or alter copyright notices, proprietary notices, or attribution required by PatrolForge or its licensors. • Upload or distribute content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights. • Use PatrolForge to facilitate intellectual property infringement. PatrolForge may remove allegedly infringing content and may suspend or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. 11. PatrolForge Branding The PatrolForge name, logo, branding, website design, graphics, icons, documentation, and other brand elements are proprietary to PatrolForge. Except with PatrolForge's prior written permission, users may not: • Copy the PatrolForge logo. • Display the PatrolForge logo in advertising or promotional materials. • Modify or create derivative versions of the PatrolForge logo. • Use PatrolForge branding in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation where none exists. • Register domain names, social media accounts, or business names that are confusingly similar to PatrolForge. • Remove copyright or proprietary notices from PatrolForge materials. Nothing in this Policy grants any license to use PatrolForge's branding. 12. OpenStreetMap and Third-Party Services PatrolForge uses third-party technologies, including OpenStreetMap data and other service providers, to deliver portions of the Services. Users may not: • Remove or obscure required OpenStreetMap attribution. • Use PatrolForge in a manner that knowingly violates the licensing terms applicable to third-party services integrated into the platform. • Attempt to interfere with third-party services used by PatrolForge. • Circumvent restrictions imposed by integrated third-party providers through PatrolForge. PatrolForge may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue third-party integrations at any time. 13. Automated Access and API Usage If PatrolForge provides APIs, webhooks, integrations, or automated access methods, users must use them responsibly and in accordance with any applicable developer documentation. Unless expressly authorized by PatrolForge, users may not: • Access PatrolForge through unauthorized automated tools. • Scrape or harvest information from the Services. • Circumvent published rate limits. • Generate excessive automated requests that negatively affect platform performance. • Attempt to discover undocumented APIs. • Interfere with API availability or reliability. • Use automation to bypass user interface restrictions or subscription limitations. PatrolForge may impose rate limits, suspend API access, or revoke developer credentials to protect the stability and security of the Services. 14. Responsible Security Research PatrolForge supports responsible disclosure of legitimate security vulnerabilities. However, users may not: • Perform penetration testing without prior written authorization. • Conduct automated vulnerability scanning against PatrolForge infrastructure. • Attempt to exploit security vulnerabilities. • Access data belonging to another Customer. • Disclose suspected vulnerabilities publicly before PatrolForge has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate them. Individuals who wish to report suspected vulnerabilities should do so through the security contact designated by PatrolForge. Good-faith reports made in accordance with PatrolForge's responsible disclosure process will be reviewed promptly. 15. Communications and Spam PatrolForge may not be used to distribute unsolicited, deceptive, or abusive communications. Prohibited conduct includes: • Sending unsolicited bulk communications. • Sending phishing messages. • Distributing malware through communications. • Impersonating another person or organization. • Sending fraudulent invoices or payment requests. • Using PatrolForge messaging features to facilitate scams. • Harassing or threatening PatrolForge personnel or other users through the Services. PatrolForge reserves the right to restrict messaging functionality where necessary to protect the platform or its users. 16. Third-Party Integrations Customers choosing to connect PatrolForge with third-party software are responsible for ensuring they have the legal authority to do so. PatrolForge is not responsible for: • The security of third-party software. • Data processing performed by third-party services. • Service interruptions caused by third-party integrations. • Data loss resulting from third-party applications. PatrolForge may disable or discontinue integrations that create unreasonable security, legal, or operational risks. 17. Protection of PatrolForge Personnel Users shall not engage in abusive conduct directed toward PatrolForge employees, contractors, support personnel, or representatives. Examples include: • Threats of violence. • Harassment. • Hate speech. • Discriminatory abuse. • Repeated frivolous support requests intended to disrupt operations. • Attempts to intimidate PatrolForge personnel into violating company policies or applicable law. PatrolForge may refuse support, suspend accounts, or terminate Services when such conduct occurs. 18. Reservation of Enforcement Rights The examples contained in this Acceptable Use Policy are illustrative and are not exhaustive. PatrolForge reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether particular conduct threatens the security, integrity, availability, reputation, legal compliance, or intended operation of the Services. Conduct that is not specifically listed in this Policy may nevertheless constitute a violation if it materially interferes with the Services, harms PatrolForge, harms other customers, or exposes PatrolForge to unreasonable legal, operational, or security risks. Nothing in this Policy limits PatrolForge's rights under its Terms of Service or applicable law. 19. Investigations PatrolForge reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, or conduct that PatrolForge reasonably believes may threaten the security, integrity, availability, or reputation of the Services. Investigations may be initiated based upon: • Customer reports. • User reports. • Automated security monitoring. • Fraud detection systems. • Payment disputes. • Reports from third parties. • Law enforcement requests. • Court orders. • Internal security reviews. • Other information reasonably suggesting a violation of this Policy. As part of an investigation, PatrolForge may: • Review relevant account activity. • Review audit logs. • Review authentication records. • Review billing activity. • Review system-generated logs. • Preserve relevant records. • Restrict access to affected accounts. • Request additional information from the Customer. • Take other reasonable steps necessary to investigate the matter. PatrolForge will make reasonable efforts to conduct investigations in a manner that minimizes unnecessary disruption to other customers. 20. Enforcement Actions If PatrolForge reasonably determines that a violation of this Policy has occurred, PatrolForge may take one or more of the following actions, as appropriate under the circumstances: • Provide an educational notice. • Issue a written warning. • Require corrective action. • Remove or disable access to specific content. • Temporarily suspend specific platform features. • Temporarily suspend individual user accounts. • Temporarily suspend Customer accounts. • Restrict API access. • Restrict third-party integrations. • Restrict Client Portal access. • Require implementation of additional security measures. • Terminate accounts. • Decline future account registrations. • Report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities. • Pursue any other remedy available under the Terms of Service or applicable law. The enforcement action selected will depend upon factors including: • The severity of the violation. • Whether the conduct appears intentional. • Whether the conduct created a security risk. • Whether the conduct affected other customers. • Whether the conduct involved fraud or unlawful activity. • Whether the violation has been repeated. • The user's cooperation during the investigation. Nothing in this Policy obligates PatrolForge to apply progressive discipline before taking action where immediate action is reasonably necessary. 21. Emergency Action PatrolForge may immediately suspend or restrict access, without prior notice where permitted by applicable law, when PatrolForge reasonably believes such action is necessary to: • Protect the security of the Services. • Prevent unauthorized access. • Protect Customer Data. • Prevent fraud. • Prevent ongoing abuse. • Comply with applicable law. • Respond to a court order or other legal process. • Protect PatrolForge, its customers, or third parties from imminent harm. Where appropriate, PatrolForge may restore access after the issue has been resolved. 22. Repeat Violations PatrolForge may consider a user's history of prior violations when determining an appropriate enforcement response. Repeated violations, repeated abuse, repeated payment fraud, repeated security incidents, repeated intellectual property violations, or repeated attempts to circumvent PatrolForge's policies may result in permanent termination of access to the Services. 23. Appeals If a Customer believes PatrolForge has taken enforcement action in error, the Customer may submit a written request for review. An appeal should include: • The affected account information. • A description of the enforcement action being appealed. • Any supporting information the Customer wishes PatrolForge to consider. • Contact information for follow-up. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement. PatrolForge will review appeals in good faith but reserves the right to make the final determination regarding continued access to the Services. 24. Reporting Violations Customers and users are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Policy. Reports may include suspected: • Account compromise. • Fraud. • Platform abuse. • Intellectual property infringement. • Security vulnerabilities. • Payment fraud. • Malware. • Unauthorized access. • Illegal content. • Other misuse of the Services. PatrolForge will review reports as resources permit and may request additional information when appropriate. Knowingly submitting false or malicious abuse reports may itself constitute a violation of this Policy. 25. Changes to this Policy PatrolForge may modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in: • Applicable law. • Technology. • Security threats. • Platform functionality. • Industry standards. • Business operations. Material changes will become effective upon posting to the PatrolForge website or as otherwise communicated to Customers. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. 26. Relationship to Other Agreements This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the PatrolForge Terms of Service. If a Customer has entered into a separate written agreement with PatrolForge that expressly supersedes a provision of this Policy, that written agreement shall control solely with respect to the conflicting provision. All other provisions of this Policy shall remain in full force and effect. 27. No Waiver Failure by PatrolForge to enforce any provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of any right or remedy. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of PatrolForge. 28. Severability If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be interpreted, reformed, or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent whenever possible. 29.
